Our History
Bonollo’s started out as a small but well established wholesale beef & provisions company operating from Woonsocket, RI. as far back as WWII.   In the late 1960’s after a long and successful career with the Swift Company, Edward Mongeon assumed control of the company.  Bonollo’s and the Mongeon family started with four trucks and 100 customers in 1968 and began, through prompt customer service and on-time delivery, a growth trend that would take them through the next three decades.    During the late 1990’s, despite several expansions to the Woonsocket facility, it had become apparent that the limitations of the warehouse were no longer practical for the needs of our broadening customer base and expanding inventory.  In 2001 the company moved to its current location in Providence, RI where our larger warehouse space and centralized location allows us to better serve the needs of our customers. Bonollo Provisions currently employs a fleet of 20 trucks and provides service to over 500 customers.   Edward retired during the mid 1990’s and the company is currently owned and operated by his two sons Kenneth and Edward (Ted).
